Q1: What safety protections are included in CTS lithium batteries?

A: Every CTS battery pack is equipped with a high-performance Smart Battery Management System (BMS). Providing multiple layers of protection to ensure the battery operates within safe limits. Key protections include:

Over-Charge Protection: Prevents cell damage by cutting off the circuit when the voltage exceeds the limit.

Over-Discharge Protection: Automatically shuts down to prevent the battery from "deep discharging," which extends its service life.

Over-Current & Short Circuit Protection: Instantly disconnects the battery in case of electrical faults or excessive loads, protecting both the battery and your machinery.

Thermal Protection: Monitors internal temperature 24/7. If it gets too hot (or too cold for charging), the BMS triggers a protective shutdown or an alarm.

Q2: How does the BMS ensure the long life of the battery?

A: Beyond safety, our BMS features Cell Balancing (Active/Passive). In any battery pack, individual cells can become slightly mismatched over time. The balancing function redistributes energy or bleeds off excess voltage so all cells stay "in sync," maximizing the usable capacity and preventing premature aging of specific cells.

Q3: Can I monitor the battery status in real-time?

A: Yes. For professional applications like Vehicle/ Robots/AGVs, we offer BMS options with CANbus, RS485, or Bluetooth communication. This allows you to monitor critical data like SOC (State of Charge), SOH (State of Health), voltage, and temperature directly on your vehicle's dashboard or via a mobile app.

Q4: Does the battery work in extreme cold weather?

A: We offer optional Integrated Heating Solutions. In cold climates (below 0°C), the BMS can activate internal heating elements to bring the battery to a safe charging temperature.
